Professional Life.
It all began during my sophomore year in college when I thought I wanted to pursue a career in law. I recall dressing up and heading to a law firm for my first day of internship. However, I quickly realized that it wasn't the right path for me when I was left alone in a room with a man in handcuffs. During my junior year, I took an advertising class, and it changed my perspective. I was drawn to the creative freedom and the ability to express brands in new and innovative ways.
Now, over 13 years later, I've had the privilege of working on various marketing campaigns. One crucial thing I've learned is that the company's culture plays a crucial role in marketing success. Without people wanting to be a part of the brand, no product or service will sell or attract customers. I've integrated this idea into various aspects of marketing, such as merchandising, branding, events, digital marketing, and more. It's all about thinking outside the box and creating a sense of belongingness.
For instance, have you heard of a BBQ restaurant partnering with Bumble or hosting private yoga sessions? Or maybe Nas performing at a state fair, while the Real Housewives host a panel discussion? These ideas were made to preserve tradition while keeping things fresh and exciting.
My previous jobs have given me the freedom to be creative, take risks, and stay ahead of the curve.
I'm a homemade cupcake in a world of store-bought muffins. I come with experience, good taste & I’m not afraid of thinking #OutsideTheBox!
Personal Life.
I have always been committed to making a difference in the world. From my work with the ARC to my advocacy with GiGi's Playhouse, I am passionate about promoting acceptance and equality. Growing up with an aunt with Down syndrome I have always had a passion for working with people who can use a helping voice. As GiGi’s Playhouse mission says, "Send a global message of acceptance for all."
My participation on the board of the Huntington Family Centers and Le Moyne College Alumni Association has allowed me to help us my voice and skills to help promote, year-round programming designed to strengthen individuals and families in a safe, caring environment.
Through all of these experiences, I have learned the power of community and the importance of working together to make a positive impact. In my free time, I enjoy pursuing my own passions like reading, exploring and designing. I enjoy spending time with my loved ones and friends. I hope to inspire others to find their own ways to make a difference and create a better world for all.
