Ordering direct has never been so easy. COVID restrictions mean evaluation and innovation. 

THE PROBLEM

With all seven of our locations being in the northeast, restrictions really took over what we could do. For a few months, we were only allowed to operate as takeout/delivery. After evaluating our third parties and the % they were taking from each order we knew we had to do something. The pushing point was the lack of communication we had with our own guests because they were "owned" by third parties.

Third-party app users. 

MY ROLE

First, we had to figure out what our exact needs were. Next, we evaluated companies and what their platforms could offer. We wanted to find a company that fits our company size with room for expansion but needed to on a quick timeline. After tons of video demos, we found a company that offered customization, marketing, reporting, and ease of use.

I worked closely with the team at 9Fold to develop the site layout, customization, and layout.

After two weeks we successfully launched our own online ordering platform taking away hidden service fees and cutting out the middleman. We saw our average order rate increase 27% and over 35,000 users in less than 6 months.
