Why should couples be the only ones to have fun on Valentine's Day? Single people need to eat as well!
THE PROBLEM
Being a BBQ restaurant we are not what you think of as a classy date night. We wanted a way to celebrate the day but with a twist.
implementation
How do you celebrate a couples holiday when your not a couple's number one place? Make it Singles Awareness Day, Eat, Drink and be messy! We started by created fun drink specials like, "A Stiff One", "Lyft Home Alone", "Thirst Trap", and more. We also made it so that each drink came with a Valentine from the restaurant. An added bonus was a last-minute drink addition called "Thank You, Next". This drink was added only at the Syracuse location after Pete Davidson filmed a movie there and had negative things to say about the city.
outcome
The event was a success! So much that we have continued it for the past three years. The fun concept also gained tons media attention.
